Fosters Light Lager

Malty Baby a good old Malt dominant sweet light Lager that is a much needed change of taste in a state with SUPERSTRONG dominance.
Brewed Malty goodness with a Fizzy good head, I'd like a little more bitter Hoppy taste at the end but it is the fruity esters that dominate the bloodhound test of smell and sweet Malty taste that overshadow the minute hop that the beer has.
Skipping the beating around the bush as i would like to enjoy the beer more and spend less time judging it, BEERBIKER SCALE

Its a light beer what do we expect under 3.25 claimed and it is, you'd need a 6 pack to get a buzz ( not recommend )

Chuggability :
Pour it in a open headed glass and even some like me who cannot gulp can chug this baby under 5 seconds.

In a state that loves its beer with a knockout punch of alcohol in it, the said beer will not be available at all the Liquor stores but its not as rare as a Corona.
Except a few stores in the shady part of the city, all major Thakkas had abundance of Fosters.
I'm confused if I give it a 5 for abundance at a few places or 3.5 as it has not taken over the Thekka scene.

Very Sweet beer ( read overly sweet ) the malt overdose kills the potential wak even before it is born, the burp is beautiful though.
As a beer that is light and is a Lager that feels a bit watered down, thus explaining the light golden head. The beer pours to a very dominant above 2 finger that has a fizzy underlayer that stays for a few sips before running flat.

Its been a month since the last time a good beer travelled north of Delhi, deep into the heart of Punjab. With the supreme court tightening the noose around the supply of Alcohol, aapna thekka Chandigarh is rendered useless. CARLING Premium Strong

My Thekka or the Liquor Store I buy my stock from called up About a New batch with Carling and Haywards etc had come in, and I would no longer have to make do with the Thunderbolt. So we picked up our Helmet and Rode down to the thekka in the middle of a wet evening with occasional thunder to get our beer fix. The ride in the rain was worth it, the BEER... Bleh Not at all... CARLING BRITAINS NUMBER ONE BEER, I did not say that it is written on the bloody Label. Generic Beer at best and too bloody expensive for absolutely no reason. C.B.S.E style point system Color : Buttery Yellow with a Shimmy Finish, just like every other super strong beer on sale in Punjab.
