CARLING Premium Strong

My Thekka or the Liquor Store I buy my stock from called up About a New batch with Carling and Haywards etc had come in, and I would no longer have to make do with the Thunderbolt.
So we picked up our Helmet and Rode down to the thekka in the middle of a wet evening with occasional thunder to get our beer fix.
The ride in the rain was worth it, the BEER...
Bleh Not at all...

CARLING BRITAINS NUMBER ONE BEER, I did not say that it is written on the bloody Label. Generic Beer at best and too bloody expensive for absolutely

no reason.

C.B.S.E style point system

Color : Buttery Yellow with a Shimmy Finish, just like every other super strong beer on sale in Punjab.

Alcohol Level : 5.25 to 8.25 %
Legs on the side of the glass look neat and are decent.

Carbonation : I liked the Carbonation, for a bottle that had a few hours in the Refrigerator to settle down to its ground state, even before the first sip there was a good thick layer of Foam on top of the bottle.
Pouring into the class was so satisfying, the man likes a head well done and boy this beer got the better ones.

Bloody Blood Hound Test : I'm still learning the difference in the flavours but even I could find a very strong case of Hops with a soft follow up of some Barley/MALT mix.

Since the formalities are over it is time for the BEERbiker index...

Strong Beer = Decent Wak
Not always, Carling is strong but not much different from a ThunderBolt Premium.
If I had a sensitive taste pallet heck I would have called them the same but I won't since that would be wrong. 

I'll give it  3.5 on the wak factor

THEKKA KITHE
Carling was out of stock for about 2 months but now it is back. It should be available at almost every " Major " liquor vend, considering it is a premium Beer smaller vendors may not order a batch.

le for a strong beer, on paper 8 % is not much but in practice it is one hell of a kick.
650 ML of A bitter liquid done a few times is good enough to knock the strongest of us out and I give our Carling a Strong
3.5

( PS : In mass produced terms 8.25 is the upper limit for most beers )

Chuggability
One of Mates called up to talk about how Carling was the SHIT, and how he chugged a 650 in 20 seconds.
Taking into account I was not able to gulp it down without a major case of Gag Reflex kicking in.
This hoppy hippy in a green bottle is a little on the lower side of the chug scale
2.5 should be a fair score.

Monetary matters
This it where Carling loses the battle to Thunderbolt or Haywards
It is Expensive 220 for a bottle, 200 and 20 for a generic beer is PREPOSTEROUS.
THUNDERBOLT is about 150 tastes the same has similar alcohol.
The bloody bottle is not special, 220 is way to much for Carling.

It is at a premium but 650 ml at 220 is not a bad price for BEER.

So this should in theory be a good beer but it is not, I am sick of all BEERS tasting the same.
From the bloody Godfather to Carling the all are the same, Hoppy and Bitter, with added starch for yeast to make more alcohol.
